SACRAMENTAL LIVING: Here’s a quick snapshot of what we want to be as a church: In the New Testament, there’s a story about Jesus feeding thousands of people by a miracle which multiplied a small amount of food. They started out with only five loaves of bread, and two fish. Jesus’ helpers had taken that food and put it in His hands. The Bible tells us that He blessed the bread, prepared (broken) it to be handed out, then shared it with thousands of hungry people. (Mark 6:30-44)
We think this story tells us a lot about what God wants to do with churches in general, and with our church in particular. We believe that God wants others to be enriched and nourished because people place themselves in Jesus' hands.
To do that, we've tried to organize our church's life to be available
for God to:
Take us - rooted in prayer and in relationship with God.
Bless us - as bread broken and multiplied through giving.
Prepare us - to be given and to give to the needs of others.
Share us - in ministry that seeks to enrich the lives of others.
May God’s love be with you today!
