How does CarePortal work?
CarePortal is a technology connecting platform that brings the needs of hurting children and families in your community to your attention. Caseworkers uncover the needs. CarePortal makes local churches and community members aware, giving them a real-time opportunity to respond.
At GCC, you can sign up to be a CarePortal responder. When GCC receives a need in our area that we think we can meet, the need is sent out to all of our responders. If the need is in the area of your gifting or you feel led to meet that need financially, you can respond directly to the caseworker to make arrangements to meet the need. Our vision is to meet immediate needs and create long-term connections with families when possible. Every family needs a community, and we at GCC have the opportunity to provide the support of a loving, caring community.
